Chiropractor
At a young age, Dr. Trey was inspired by his parents to go to the chiropractor because of its natural healing properties and Holistic beliefs. He would regularly seek chiropractic care for maintenance, making sure that his body was functioning and performing at its fullest potential. Before wanting to become a Chiropractor, Dr. Trey was interested in Physical Therapy and Rehab. He loved the idea of helping people recover after injury and making them stronger through exercise. After working with and shadowing a PT in undergrad, Dr. Trey was dissuaded from pursuing a career in PT. What solidified his decision to become a Chiropractor was his visit to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. It was there that he fell in love with Chiropractic. He was able to find a happy middle ground with being able to continue to do rehab and exercise but also be able to adjust.
After earning a BA in Athletic Training at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Dr. Trey earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer in 2022. He typically adjusts patients using Palmer Diversified and Palmer Gonstead methods as well as different tool-based approaches to fit people's needs. With these techniques, he can tailor care to meet each patient's unique needs. Dr. Trey has the ability to treat anyone from one week old to 100 years old and enjoys providing customized, non "cookie cutter" care.
Growing up around sports and competing as a collegiate wrestler, sports were a big part of Dr. Trey's upbringing. He has a passion for treating athletes and looks forward to giving back to the sports community through chiropractic care. Outside of the office, Dr. Trey loves staying active and coaches wrestling for the Hamilton Hawkeyes.
